Title: Java Developer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: Long Term contract

Important Skills:

·         Someone that can jump in and ramp up fast

·         Have hands-on experience on developing RESTful APIs using Java.

·         Have experience with developing cloud based solutions, preferably hosted on AWS or Google Cloud.

·         Have the passion and ability to write clean, readable, well-designed and well-documented code along with tests.

·         Thrive in an environment that favors teamwork, participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the peers.

·         Continuously learn and apply new tools and techniques.

·         Are self-motivated, can take the initiative to move forward even in the middle of ambiguity and pivot when needed.

·         Are versatile, can assume different roles to meet the team’s need and are flexible to work with changing deadlines and priorities.

·         Have a positive attitude and you represent the team.

·         Have some exposure to some of the following: Event Sourcing, DevOps, Microservices, ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse systems, Structured and NoSQL DBs, Visualizers (like Tableau, Kibana), Messaging middleware (i.e., Kafka, SQS), AWS, Cryptography, Secure Coding, Test frameworks and tools, Performance testing.

·         Have 2 years of experience analyzing, designing, hands on coding, testing and maintaining complex software applications/systems.

·         Have a degree in Engineering or Computer Science, preferably.

·         Are eager to learn more, develop your skills and strive to be the best at your work.
